Cheetah Print and Tiger Stripes Over OPI Teenage Dream and Short Story

I have been avoiding wearing OPI Short Story and Teenage Dream for the longest! I really don't know why, but I decided to combined the two.
First I started with Short Story which is a super, bright, fun, hot pink.
I love pink and I wanted this so bad before I got it. Then my sis bought it as a graduation present for me last year. I was so thrilled!

This 2-3 coats of Short Story.

In Sunlight

Then I did some cheetah and tiger stripes designs on my nails and used teenage dream.
Here's how it turned out.

Out of all the nail art designs I have done, I love these the best.
I'm so girly, and I love pink, Animal Prints, and glitter, so putting them all together just makes them even more awesome.
These are so pretty I may just wear them all week. It's so hard to keep one mani for at least 2 days but I'm gonna try.

What's your best nail designs?
*Also if Anyone owns Short Story and/or Orly's Fancy Fuschia please tell me how they compare.

Thanks for reading!(:

Love & Beauty Coral + OPI Black Shatter= Pure Sexiness!

Good Monday everybody! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend ( I sure didn't) but that's another story. I decide to show off more OPI shatter because I just love it. My base color is Love and Beauty Coral.
I found this color in a bin at Forever 21. It was hiding under these ugly colors and I almost didn't notice it. Majority of the time, I hate reds, but I see myself liking them lately. This is one of the prettiest, sexiest reds I've seen thus far.I put OPI Black Shatter over it and it just made me even more happy.

I loved these so much but I have to say the wear on these were horribe I only went 1 day without chipping my nails. I don't know if all Love & Beauty chip this bad but this one did for me. I did them Sunday and they chipped on Monday. It was crazy. Maybe I should consider a new base coat or top coat. Either way I love this combo and definately would wear them again.

Also I'm feeling like its almost time for my first giveaway. I'm super ready and maybe if I get to fifty followers soon I'll start it. Well thats it for now. Have a great day!

Wait!! Its not even Summer yet!!!

Coast to Coast Classics

OPI Launches Touring America

Collection for Fall/Winter 2011

OPI hits the open road with a new take on classic style in the Touring America Collection for Fall/Winter 2011. Inspired by Americana and cities with rich cultural heritage, the collection’s twelve shades offer comfortable glamour and wearable elegance for nails and toes.

“My recent road trip across the country sparked the creation of the Touring America Collection,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Autumn is a time for reinvention, and these shades revive classic, iconic colors for fall, from cool heather, khaki and chocolate to warm rose, peach and red.”

The season’s go-to shades of taupe and pearl grey appear in variations from dark to light – A-taupe the Space Needle, Get in the Expresso Lane, French Quarter for Your Thoughts, and Suzi Takes the Wheel. Lush urban neutrals in deep sapphire (Road House Blues), rich raisin (Honk If You Love OPI), chic olive (Uh-oh Roll Down the Window), and coffee brown (I Brake for Manicures) merge with iconic red (Color to Diner For), vivid rose (My Address is “Hollywood”), and luminous coral and orange (I Eat Mainely Lobster, Are We There Yet?) for an expansive color landscape.

“This collection will take women around the world on the ultimate tour across the USA, with stops in Baltimore, Clarksdale, Hollywood, Jackson Hole, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tucson,” explains Suzi. “Together, the locales that inspired Touring America make up a rich palette of color complementing trends from the runway, where we saw a mix of feminine details and dramatic menswear touches.”

Touring America includes the following shades:

Are We There Yet?
Don’t make me reach back there and take that perfect melon shade!

I Eat Mainely Lobster
We “clawed” through crowds to catch this coral for you.

My Address is "Hollywood"
We put this pretty rose-pink on the map.

Color to Diner For
I’ll take the rosy-red with a side of “awesome.”

Honk if You Love OPI
Don’t let this gorgeous dark grape pass you by.

Road House Blues
In this case…R&B stands for “Really Blue.”

Suzi Takes the Wheel
Buckle up—she’s not stopping until she gets to gray!

French Quarter for Your Thoughts
Want beads? Then show us your sexy gray nails!

Uh-oh Roll Down the Window
You’re gonna wanna pull over for this “unexpected” olive green.

A-taupe the Space Needle
You’ll climb to new heights with this creamy-rich taupe.

Get in the Expresso Lane
An amped-up dark brown that’ll never letcha down!

I Brake for Manicures
This gorgeous eggplant-plum has our full attention.

Its kinda makes me sad I dont wanna think about fall or winter yet. We're in the right season right now, but then I'm excited to see some of these expecially Roadhouse Blues. It looks like the dark blue that I've been needing but only time will tell if I really like it.
How's everyone feeling about this collection?

Zoya Caitlyn + Layering and Shatter!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to get my new Zoya and I totally neglected my Zoyas that I just received. I got my Zoya Intimate Collection a few days ago and I was in love with Caitlyn, so I chose to wear it first.
Its a grey toned, violet/purple cream.

This was two coats.
Caitlyn is so classy and pretty and it was so easy to apply and dried very quickly . I'm used to neon, bright, over the top colors so its nice to change it up every now and again.

After wearing Caitlyn for a day and looking at all my goods that got I got in the mall, I decide to do some experiments with layering.
One of the colors I pick up was Love and Beauty Pink and it was so pretty and I knew it was a perfect layering polish.

The pink shimmer made this even more pretty but I couldn't leave them alone. I had to try out the my new shatter.
I kinda fudged up my index finger by over applying it that's why it looked smudged off. I had fun playing with the shatter I was up all night putting it on any nails I could find. It was so fun. I have a lot of ideas with the shatter and I still want some of the China Glaze crackles.

Have anyone else tried any shatters or crackles?
Whats better OPI Shatter or China Glaze Crackles or are they the same?
Let me know what you think.

OPI Launches Bestselling Shatter Coat in Three Blue-Hued Shades

Shatter Line Extended with Bold Blues!

OPI expands its Shatter line with the addition of three new trendsetting shades: Blue, Navy and Turquoise. With nautical hues of cobalt, indigo and sapphire, these blues provide the perfect look for summer nails in one simple step. Inspired by graffiti art, Shatter leaves behind a crackled, two-texture finish when painted over any dry OPI hue. Adding top coat takes Shatter from matte to glossy in seconds.

“Black Shatter was received with great fanfare, showing that women are looking for new ways to express themselves and are excited to try different textures on their nails,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “By adding a variety of colors to the line, there are more options for every woman, whether she is looking for a funky aquamarine or elegant deep blue. Unlike traditional nail art which can be complicated and difficult to replicate, Shatter is easy to use and allows everyone to experiment with this new trend.”

In addition to the original Black Shatter, the line also features the Shatter coat in White, Red and Silver. All Shatter retail displays now feature Quick Response (QR) code, a two-dimensional barcode readable by smart phones and mobile phones with cameras and Internet capability. A quick scan of the display’s QR code will directly link to a demonstrational video – making application foolproof.

All Shatter products contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application.

Blue Shatter, Navy Shatter, and Turquoise Shatter will be available beginning May 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Shatter coat.

OMG! I want the Turquoise shatter super bad!!! Tell me what you guys think.

This week end was awesome. I did a lot of shopping and I LOVE going to the mall. I'm 19 so being at the mall is like a big arcade to me. I bought a lot of polishes and I don't feel bad at all. I also bought some stuff from Walgreens. I thought I would find the new Revlon polish but I didn't. BUMMER);Anyway here's my goodies.

Here's everything seperate
OPI:Black Shatter (YAY!!), DS Magic, OPI Ink
Love & Beauty:Bubblegum, Lavender, Pink, Coral
Claire's:Venomous x2, Evil Queen
Sinful Colors:Show Me The Way, Wet n Wild:Gray's Anatomy, Blue Moon
I took a picture of Grays Anatomy beside OPI Not Like The Movies and realized they were similar. Only difference is GA did'nt have the silver shimmer in it.

I also bought Zoya Julieanne I don't know why I left it out. Plus you may notice that there are two claires venomous. I really don't need two so someone may end up with it! That means there will be a giveaway soon. I'm so excited! I will let you all know when its all ready.

Pastel Skittle Nails + Zebra Nail Art

After I cut my silly brittle nubs, I was thinking "What to do with my nails?" I started lookin through my pile and since Spring is near I chose all pastel spring colors.

Thumb: Essie Lapis of Luxury, Index: Pure Ice Love, Middle:Sinful Colors Unicorn, Ring: Kiss Soft Purple, Pinky: China Glaze Re-Freshmint

This is so girly and cute. It reminds me of the little egg candies that usually are around during Easter.
Then I thought to put a design on it and zebra print pop in my head.
and this is what I came up with...

I think these are so fun and cute. These are also great for Spring and Easter.
What do you think and would you wear them?

Color Club Starry Temptress Collection Swatches

This is one of the new collections from Color Club. Lately they've come out with two other collections: Alter Ego & Wicked Sweet but I naturally wanted these more. Why would want these over those? Well my answer would have to be I FREAKIN LOVE NEONS! The more brighter and eye searing the better. PLUS! They're packed full of holographic glitter. I didn't get Starry Temptress top coat because I figure its the same as my Pure Ice Dont You Wish a regular holographic glitter top coat which I dont need. Sooo.. with that said lets get started!

Ultra- Astral. Hot Pink Neon with Holo glitter. Two Coats

Glitter Envy. Lime green Neon with holo glitter. Three Coats

You Got Soul-Ar Bright Neon orange with holo glitter.Much more orange-y in real life.Three Coats

Otherwordly. Its a medium neon blue with holo glitter. Two Coats

Space Case. Barbie, bubble gum Pink with holo glitter and an iridescent light blue-ish flash. very pretty. Three Coats

You can't really tell it on the nail but here's a view in the bottle.

and lastly my Fav of the collection!
Wink, Wink, Twinkle. An electric Purple with holo glitter. The base is similar to Sinful Colors Dream On. Two coats

This collect has great colors. I only wished the holo glitter would have been more noticeable. They do dry matte, and are very bumpy from the glitter so a top coat is extremely needed. Overall, I would say this is a great collection.
