OPI- 2013 Mariah Carey Collection: Get Your Number Swatches
Hey all I am so excited to show off this new color from OPI new collection! In past years every spring we have seen big name artists like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj team up with this great brand to bring something new, different, and innovative to the polish world. This year is no different. This legendary singer to many, hits notes like no other has her very own collection! Who do I speak of ? Mariah Carey of course!
The color I have is Get Your Number. It is a gorgeous blue based holographic glitter with the new Liquid Sand texture. The Liquid Sand is a glitter that is also matte. I was so skeptical at first, but while it is on my nails as I type I have no problems with it! I actually love this gritty look. It does remind me of the bottles filled with colorful sand that are layered, and you shake the bottle the sand fall exactly back in place! I used 3 coats, but 2 is completely fine.
Love it either way! I also realized this is very similar to Teenage Dream just a blue version. OMG if their was a turquoise version (swoons....) I'd really love if that would happen (OPI MAKE IT HAPPEN! Lol!!) I really love this new Liquid Sand Texture! Now I really want to try some of the other colors like Stay the Night. I ordered this one off Amazon with using my gift cards I redeemed through Swagbucks.

I didn't think I would like the liquid sand effect, but this looks really pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteYou can always treat it as a regular glitter and just add a top coat it is still gorgeous that way too.

The fact that it was so similar to Teenage dream was the main reason why I picked it up today. I don't think I'll be leaving it matte, the gloss was exactly what I was hoping for and then seeing it in person I almost die from its gorgeousness ♥♥♥
