Essie- Mint Candy Apple and OPI- Pirouette My Whistle
Hey all! I haven't had much time to post since I have been in Georgia. Sorry, hope everyone's summer is going well! I wore this mani a while back and have to show you guys!
I have had Essie- Mint Candy Apple since the Christmas of 2009 and never wore it so I just had to pput that baby on. I got it back when Essie's were like $3 on Transdesign!!! (What happen lol!) It is a blue based mint green creme. I love mints! I cannot get enough of them and, this was my first mint creme. This is 3 coats.
I topped it off with OPI- Pirouette My Whistle from the NYC Ballet Collection.
It is such a fun yet delicate glitter. There are tiny silver glitter and large hex light grey glitters in a clear base. I used 2 Coats over Essie- MCA.

I an in love with this combo so soft and sweet.
I really love the glitter in PMW it reminds me of sugar for some reason.

I love these two together! I have Pirouette and haven't worn it yet....but I'm shocked you've had that Essie for 3 years and just wearing it! LOL

Folks raved so long over Mint Candy Apple that I thought I needed it - got it and found yet another one more way to full of white and thus chalky looking polish that looked horrible on me like all in that group do. But I really like it with Pirouette over it - makes me want to dig out some of my chalky shades and try putting Pirouette over them. I really have gotten a lot of use out of Pirouette and I am a huge NOT fan of glitters but that one works for me. I use it in sandwitching too.
